Dill Sauce

Dill Sauce
When my children were young, they loved this sauce as a compliment to cod cakes.  As a dip, it also encouraged them to eat raw vegetables.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 1-1 1/2 cups of sauce.

2 tbsp mayonaise
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp sweet relish
Few drops of tobasco sauce
1/2 tbsp dill
1 grated lemon
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

1. Add all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.

2. Chill until ready to serve.

Enjoy!

  1. Yum! I have been looking for recipes to use with my dill plant, and will definitely try this one out. Let me know if you have any more suggestions!

    1. Brittany,
Like I said, this is a great dip for veggies. In terms of other uses for dill, you can take a few sprigs of your dill and lay it on top of something to grill (i.e. Salmon) with fennel.
